DayStar Properties is located in Jaco Beach on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Jaco Beach is about 70 miles (110 km) from Costa Rica's capital, San Jose, and it takes about two hours to get here from the international airport.

International flights from the US, Canada and Europe arrive daily, and many North American cities offer non-stop service.

DayStar Shuttle Service

DayStar Shuttle ServiceDayStar offers shuttle transportation to and from the San Jose International Airport (SJO) upon request. The DayStar shuttle fee is $100 for up to four people, and $10 for each additional passenger.

Our shuttle driver, identified with a DayStar sign will meet you at the airport and drive you directly to your accomodations. For your convenience, shuttle fees can be charged to your credit card. Complimentary beverages are provided during the drive.

Car Rentals

Some guests and purchasers choose to rent a car at the airport and drive themselves to Jaco Beach. If it will be your first time in Costa Rica, we recommend that you use the DayStar shuttle service, and then rent a car once you get here.

The road to Jaco Beach from San Jose is poorly marked and often confusing for first-time visitors.
